Unbitten: A Vampire Dream
By Glenn Parris
October 23, 2020, (San Francisco, CA) —What to do for Halloween in the time of COVID 19? Ma, put on the kettle! Pop some popcorn, and tune into Unbitten by Glenn Parris streaming on Facebook Live on Saturday, October 31 at 7 PM (EST).
The bewitching hour is upon us! Stay indoors! Turn down the lights and listen to Unbitten, a Facebook Live Halloween tale of blood, medical technicalities, and Amanda Hunt, a virgin vampire with a genetic blood disorder. Bitten 200 years ago and almost made Undead until she finds a loophole that can save her from fully transforming. Revealed by decades of research with the help of her descendants, this secret may allow her to defeat the vampire prince who made her what she is today. Lord Anton Kuryk couldn’t finish the job on Amanda two centuries ago, or on her 5th great grand-niece, Wynter, in the present. Listen and learn how these cousins up-end the Familia Vampyre in this twisted yarn of Bioscience and folklore for a modern gothic Halloween treat. So, lock the door, turn on the lights because Unbitten, is a tale of fright that will be played in the afternoon and twice at night, 7 PM (EST) and 9 PM (EST).

About the Author:
Glenn Parris writes in the genres of sci-fi, fantasy, and medical mystery. Considered by some an expert in Afrofuturism, he is a self-described lifelong sci-fi nerd. His interest in the topic began as a tween before the term Afrofuturism was even coined. As a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, as were Samuel R. Delany, and Neil de Grasse Tyson, he was in good company to have his interests cultivated. Parris encompasses his own dichotomy of a physician by day, incorporating that scientific outlook into his creative works. As one of the too few African-American men practicing medicine, his unique perspective makes the stories he writes compelling and makes him an engaging speaker on various topics. Parris enjoys writing cross-genre in medical mystery, science fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction. His debut novel, The Renaissance of Aspirin, is the first in The Jack Wheaton Mystery series. Dragon’s Heir: The Archeologist’s Tale is his latest full- length work set to be republished by Outland Entertainment in 2021.
