Abstract
This original saga stretches over 65 million years of alternate history. The Translator is provided here as an appendix to bridge both the knowledge and language gap between our civilization and theirs. There are some things Humans must unlearn…
Dragon’s Heir is the story of a beautiful, young archaeologist, Vit Na, assigned to a research expedition on a starship sent to their planet of origin. 65 million years after her people abandon Earth, Vit Na discovers that the world her kind once called home is now infested by mammals that bear a disturbing resemblance to her own people. This discovery places the human race in mortal peril and ordains Vit Na as Humanity’s advocate and only chance of survival.
The wall of Law, long standing as surrogate for justice, offered stability impervious to change. Its fortification shines as an Efilu triumph for all to see. Still, walls are peculiar things. They keep the unwanted out while constructing a perfect prison for their creators. The Efilu forged their barrier around a treasury of sins, a weightless burden until the debt comes due. Sixty-five million years have yet to wash the Exodus’s taint from the Alum. Atonement, inexorable, painful, and righteous, must reunite all the children of Fitu. For the Alum renders one inevitable constant in the universe… change.
